Brighton Academy Child Day Care

The Brighton Way

At Brighton, we are concerned with the well being of children with an emphasis on early child development. We are devoted to a well-balanced environment and parent to teacher relationships. We specialize in full curriculum development for well rounded students.

Brighton Academy is committed to creating a center for young children that offers a safe, clean, age appropriate environment that would give children the experiences that assures their needs are met emotionally, physically, and socially.

Brighton Academy ChildrenWe truly understand how difficult it is for parents to find exceptional care for children. We believe a good quality care in the early years will have strong advantage, both educationally and socially, than those who had not been in a loving and stimulating environment.

Your child’s personal development is first priority at Brighton. We have researched child care trends and early childhood research by being involved in professional organizations such as the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC), the Professional Association for the Education of Young Children (PACE), and the National Child Care Association (NCCA).

Philosophy

We offer a philosophy of learning through play and discovery. Young children need to have lots of time to play and explore their environment.

Through a balance of self-directed and teacher-directed activities, we strive to enrich a child’s social, emotional, intellectual, and physical development.

In addition to being well qualified and experienced in early childhood education, we believe that a teacher should be trained and experienced in classroom management, positive reinforcement techniques, and have excellent parent/teacher communication skills.

Quality early childhood and school-age programs value and actively promote a partnership with children’s families. Parents are encouraged to visit often and participate in their child’s classroom daily activities.
